The ideal candidate has courtroom experience, a passion for helping clients through challenging times, and thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. If you are looking to make a meaningful impact while growing your legal career, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations. Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and discovery responses. Conduct thorough legal research and prepare case strategy memos and briefs. Collaborate with clients, paralegals, and legal assistants to develop case strategies. Ensure deadlines and case milestones are met efficiently and accurately. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and manage expectations. Stay informed on changes in family law and court procedures. Contribute to the firm’s reputation through professional development and community involvement. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing of the Virginia State Bar. Minimum of 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law. Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills. Proficiency with state court litigation procedures and local rules. Ability to handle sensitive and emotionally charged situations with professionalism. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases independently. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
