STS Technical Services is hiring a Regional Field Service Representative in Fort Riley, Kansas. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with U.S. Government and military customers while supporting some of the most advanced tactical vehicles in service today.Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative with in-depth technical knowledge of the JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) and HMMWV (High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle) family. In this role, you’ll deliver critical field support for Total Package Fielding, maintenance programs, quality inspections, and warranty services at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. You will act as a subject matter expert (SME) on AM General’s JLTV and HMMWV platforms while providing exceptional technical support to military customers.This position may also involve supporting engineering test efforts and contributing to training programs. Prior instructor experience is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as SME for JLTV and HMMWV automotive systems, tools, and maintenance procedures. Provide short- and long-term field service support globally per contract requirements. Prepare detailed service reports covering program status, deficiencies, and corrective actions. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Support AM General’s Training and Field Service initiatives with customers. Act as a liaison between field operations and manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams. Support U.S. Government and military mission objectives with professionalism and technical expertise. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.QualificationsAutomotive vocational degree or at least 5 years of relevant automotive technical experience required; ASE certifications a plus. Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) experience related to JLTV or HMMWV preferred (MOS 91H strongly desired). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Extensive knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment. Familiarity with CAN BUS network theory and troubleshooting/repair is a plus. Prior military service (U.S. Army or Marine Corps) preferred. Recovery School graduate is desirable but not required.Additional InformationThis position requires travel both CONUS and OCONUS.
