Position Overview The Field Specialist I, Advanced CIP is a high-impact technical role requiring advanced expertise in configuring, servicing, and optimizing Ricoh's products and solutions. This position combines hands-on service delivery with strategic consulting, customer training, and proactive solution development. Core Responsibilities Technical Expertise & Solutions Delivery Configure, install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of Ricoh products and services Lead complex problem-solving efforts and mentor peers in technical resolution Provide consultative support and strategic analysis to improve customer workflows Identify and implement volume-building opportunities to enhance product utilization Maintain and share expertise on equipment operations and specifications Customer Engagement & Relationship Management Serve as a trusted advisor, anticipating customer needs and promoting Ricoh's support offerings Deliver professional, solution-oriented training and guidance to end users Foster strong, collaborative relationships with customers and internal teams Manage time and service schedules independently while supporting team objectives Workload & Service Management Execute service calls and workload management procedures with precision Conduct workflow observations and present tailored solutions for operational improvement Maintain high productivity and responsiveness across assigned service areas Administrative & Compliance Complete all required documentation, logs, and reports accurately and on time Maintain inventory (car stock or on-site) and ensure proper tracking of time and activities Adhere to company policies and support others in compliance and documentation Performance Expectations Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and response time targets Participate in Ricoh's Extra Value programs and bill services accordingly Demonstrate professionalism and resilience in high-pressure or complex situations Qualifications Valid state driver's license and required auto insurance per Ricoh policy High school diploma required; coursework or experience in computers, electronics, networking, and printing software preferred Completion of Ricoh's Technology Services Training and Certification Program (see certification requirements) Skills & Attributes Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Advanced multitasking and prioritization abilities Skilled in Microsoft Office and mobile technology applications Solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous learning Professionalism under pressure and effective conflict resolution Working Conditions Extensive daily travel by car; occasional overnight travel may be required Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, moving equipment up to 400 lbs, and frequent bending/kneeling May involve outdoor work and exposure to varied weather conditions Shift work, overtime, and on-call availability may be required
