The Laser Field Repair Technician helps support jewelers worldwide by delivering top-notch service, repairs, and maintenance for laser equipment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. B&D employs a team of highly qualified technicians that offer their expertise in diagnostics, maintenance, and knowledge of vital equipment. The team is continuing to grow, and recently moved into a new, larger facility to better serve our customers! Key Responsibilities: * Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and virtual platforms. * Work with customers to troubleshoot, test, and repair their laser equipment remotely and in person. * Document customer interactions and process invoices using company systems. * Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver a seamless customer experience. * Drive the company van for customer site visits and equipment deliveries. * Lift, crate, and uncrate laser equipment and shipments as needed. * Travel to customer locations, with occasional overnight trips. * Maintain a professional and customer-first attitude during all service interactions. Basic Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (subject to drug screen and background check). * Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions. * Customer-focused mindset with quick problem-solving abilities. * Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. * Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. * Technical and mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn circuitry and mechanics. * Positive, coachable attitude and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications: * Forklift operation experience. * Previous electrical, micro-electronics, or technician experience. * Knowledge of the jewelry industry and/or laser equipment
