We help farmers deliver the best possible outcomes, working to achieve the balance between economic, environmental, and social value creation for sustainable and efficient agriculture.As a Maintenance I/E Technician, you will have the skills necessary to install, maintain, and troubleshoot site instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment to ensure safe operation with maximum production availability. The candidate will report to and receive work assignments, priorities, etc., from the Maintenance Supervisor.During your shift as a Maintenance I/E Technician, you willComplete required repairs and tasks on instruments, controls, and electrical systems efficiently and promptly to restore or maintain safe operating capability. Install and verify new instrument, control, and electrical systems according to vendor specifications and maintenance procedures, using drawings, manuals, or blueprints. Recommend changes to existing instruments, controls, electrical systems, or equipment to improve reliability, accuracy, and optimize processes. Suggest tools, equipment, or methods to enhance safety and timeliness of system repairs. Communicate any alterations to existing instrument, control, or electrical systems to ensure all site records are current and that proper documentation is completed. Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards in the work area and safely operate forklifts and manlifts. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of operations, maintenance, repair, and calibration of chemical process instrumentation and controls, as well as knowledge of electronic process control systems, electrical supply and distribution systems, and safety regulations associated with chemical operations. Effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work a flexible schedule, and respond to call-ins and impromptu overtime as needed. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential to support a safety and quality mindset. Other duties as deemed necessary.If you have...High School Diploma or GED 3 years of I/E Maintenance experience in an industrial setting, or a two-year technical degree in an I/E Maintenance fieldPreferred3 years of PLC experience. Experience with calibrating and configuring instrumentation using HART-based communicators. NEC Code Knowledge. Understanding of working in electrically classified areas Ability to write and revise written job instructions.
