Executive Chef

This local restaurant offers an exquisite menu that showcases impeccably classic and seasonal cuisine. The cellar boasts an extensive selection of affordable wines, complemented by the sommelier’s unique by-the-glass offerings.  The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall quality and profitability of the restaurant. They ensure that all personnel and systems function efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction, achieve budgeted profit levels, and maintain employee morale. The executive chef collaborates closely with the General Manager and communicates effectively with the Director of Operations. Additionally, they supervise all back-of-house staff. This position is full-time and compensated with a salary. Competencies and Qualifications: Six or more years of experience in a high-volume or fine dining environment Ability to interact positively with supervisors, management, colleagues, patrons, and the public to foster teamwork and maintain a professional and positive demeanor Proficiency in producing a high volume of work in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations Ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts, including proportions and percentages Active adherence to food safety procedures Capacity to train and motivate team members Strong organizational skills Effective time management abilities This Local restaurant is an equal opportunity employer.
