This company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solar installations and has been recognized on Solar Power Worlds 2025 Top Solar Contractors List.As part of their ongoing expansion, they are now seeking a skilled Project Manager to take full ownership of projects from contract execution through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all aspects of solar project delivery from contract execution through closeoutMaintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards across multiple active sitesCollaborate with internal engineering and design teams to develop and refine construction drawing setsManage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor packagesCoordinate and lead subcontractor activity on-siteMonitor and enforce job site safety in accordance with OSHA and company standardsEnsure permit applications, interconnection requirements, and inspection processes are completedLead client communication and project meetings; serve as point of contact throughout the project lifecycleTrack and report on budget vs. actual costs and address potential risk factors proactivelyOversee project closeout and ensure operations & maintenance manuals are completedWe are looking for someone with a background similar to:5+ years of experience in construction project management (solar or electrical construction strongly preferred)Proven background managing C&I ground-mount solar projects (ideally within an EPC environment)Open to candidates from electrical contractor backgrounds with relevant site management experienceFamiliarity with OSHA regulations, permitting, and utility interconnection processesSelf-starter with a hands-on, humble, and collaborative mindsetAbility to travel to project sites across New York State as needed
