Our client, a leading producer of high-end seating / cabinetry is seeking a Project Estimator to join their team in Chicago, IL. The company is a 3rd generation, family-owned business that has done notable projects worth millions of dollars. We are seeking a junior - midlevel professional that has worked in the areas of construction or manufacturing. In this role, you will be heavily client interfacing and managing projects from start to finish through the flow of the factory. We are seeking someone who can read blueprints and bid requests, do quantity takeoffs and can provide accurate estimations into what is needed.Description:- 2+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or related field - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and bid documents - Strong organizational and communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or estimating software a plus - Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
