Project Manager / Estimator Overview:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our team in Massachusetts. The successful candidate will report to the Preconstruction Manager and provide support to two senior estimators. This role offers a competitive salary in the range of $110,000 - $140,000.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the preconstruction team to prepare accurate and timely estimates for gas, water, sewage, and general utilities (excluding power).Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of municate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.Assist in the development of cost estimates and proposals for potential projects.Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Proven experience in estimating for utility projects.Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Day-to-Day:As an Project Manager / Estimator, you will work closely with the preconstruction team to analyze project requirements, communicate with external stakeholders, and contribute to the development of accurate estimates.
