As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated team members who share our passion for building better communities through safe and efficient construction practices.Position Overview:We are seeking a Safety Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety programs for our projects in the Houston, Austin and San Antonio areas. This role plays a critical part in fostering a safety-first culture and supporting field teams to maintain safe job sites.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures across all active job sites.Conduct regular site safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports, including incident reports and safety KPIs.Lead safety training sessions and orientations for field staff and spect and manage inventory of safety equipment, including PPE, fire protection, fall protection, anize and facilitate emergency response drills.Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to resolve safety issues promptly.Participate in the development and implementation of safety initiatives and continuous improvement strategies.Serve as a key member of the emergency response team.Other safety-related duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.OSHA 30 Certification required, OSHA 500 Certification is a plus.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role within the commercial construction industry.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to travel regularly within the Dallas, Austin and San Antonio regions.Why Join Jamail & Smith:Supportive, family-oriented company cultureCommitment to training, development, and career growthCompetitive benefits and paid time off package, including: 3 weeks of Paid Time Off annually, 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance
