Special Education Instructional Aide

Make a Difference Every Day in Special Education - We are committed to providing high-quality educational services that empower every student to reach their full potential.  The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District is seeking passionate, dedicated professionals to join our Special Education team as full-time Instructional Aides in Dickinson and Iron Counties. These positions are union, non-exempt working 181 days, 7 hours per day, during the contracted school year. Wage is based on the ESP II Master Agreement Pay Scale. A full benefit package is available. Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in a daycare or special education classroom, or advanced training in a Michigan Department of Education–approved aide training program Ability to lift and physically support students as needed Must have regular and reliable attendance Valid driver’s license may be required depending on assignment Please apply by September 10, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. CDT for initial consideration.
