Lead Pastry Cook

We are seeking a highly experienced, creative, and driven Lead Pastry Chef to lead and manage our pastry department. This is a high-level role ideal for someone who is passionate about pastry arts and ready to take full ownership of the program in a fast-paced, professional kitchen. At this time, we are looking for a leader who can be flexible, full-time and present during this important period. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all aspects of the pastry department, including menu development, production, plating, and presentation. Develop and execute an  innovative dessert menu that aligns with the overall culinary direction. Produce high-quality breads for daily service, ensuring consistency and excellence. Prepare amuse-bouche and specialty items as part of tasting menus. Train, mentor, and manage pastry staff and ensure proper kitchen procedures are followed. Collaborate with Executive Chef and FOH team to ensure smooth service and execution. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety standards. Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for pastry-related items. Qualifications: Minimum 5+  years experience in a high-end pastry or fine-dining environment. Formal training from a culinary or pastry institute is preferred. Deep knowledge of pastry techniques, bread baking, plated desserts, and modern presentation. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment. Passion for creativity, detail, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
