Shipping Clerk

Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Shipping Clerk. The hours for this role are 7am-3:30pm The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour. What you'll do: Summary: Responsible for accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control. Ensure delivery of materials/product to the proper department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipment in order to verify information against sales orders/customer requirements, bills of lading or other records * Examine and unpack incoming or outgoing shipments, reject damaged items * Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications * Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area * Check on inbound inventory and administer the processing/shipment * Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery * Responsible for monitoring the returns process * Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing Oracle to maintain accurate inventory records * Verify shipments and log them according to required procedures * Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receipt log * Assist management in recycling material in the warehouse * Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested * Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse * Ensure that all documents and material used in the warehouse are of satisfactory quality * Safely utilize forklifts and power jacks to move warehouse materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed Qualifications: Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
