Were passionate about continuous personal and professional growth for ourselves and our clients.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join our eLearning localisation team in Chicago. You will take ownership of key client accounts, primarily in Learning & Development, while also supporting projects across other sectors as this role, you will manage complex localisation projects from quote to delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, high-quality outcomes, and exceptional client service. You will mentor junior colleagues, contribute to process improvements, and act as a strategic partner to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementLead the end-to-end delivery of localisation projects across a wide range of learning and training formats, including:Instructor-led training guides and participant manualsStudent workbooks and reference materialsLesson plans and teaching aidsE-learning modules (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adapt)Online training platforms (text, subtitles, UI strings)Interactive multimedia (animations, simulations, quizzes)Corporate training coursesVoice-over and subtitle translation for instructional videosLearning management system (LMS) contentAssessments, quizzes, and certification testsOversee and coordinate file preparation in collaboration with engineering teams.Create and manage eLearning specific risk assessments, project scopes, timelines, and budgets.Ensure alignment with client expectations and internal quality standards.Client Relationship ManagementAct as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.Develop a deep understanding of client workflows, business needs, and market-specific nuances.Provide guidance on best practices, localisation strategies, and technical file handling, specific to the Learning & Development space.Technical & File ManagementCoordinate the file preparation and localisation of InDesign and other Adobe suite documents.Prepare course exports and coordinate localisation of courses created in authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adapt.Troubleshoot and QA complex files using localisation engineering knowledge.Use CAT tools such as XTM Cloud and Phrase TMS, project management systems, and QA platforms effectively.Education & Experience Requirements5+ years of experience in localisation project management, specifically within eLearning.Proven ability to manage complex, multi-market, multi-language projects.Bachelors degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).Experience working in a hybrid or global, multi-time-zone environment is a plus.Success CriteriaYou will be evaluated based on:Delivering projects on time and within budget.Achieving KPIs related to client satisfaction, project quality, and operational performance.Demonstrating problem-solving and process improvement skills in fast-paced scenarios.Leading and independently managing complex client accounts.What You BringExceptional project management skills with a proactive mindset.Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence working under pressure.Excellent prioritisation and decision-making skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.High IT literacy and hands-on experience with CAT tools and project management systems.Deep understanding of eLearning localisation workflows, terminology management, and QA processes.A collaborative, adaptable approach and the ability to work effectively with international teams.Why Global LingoCompetitive compensation planImplemented strategy for personal development planFlexible working policyConstructive and consultative working environmentBenefits planAre you ready for a new challenge?
