Cooking Class Instructor (Kids and Adults) About Us: We are a small, community-focused business with a passion for sharing the joy of cooking. Our programs bring people of all ages into the kitchen—from kids building lifelong skills to adults learning new techniques and cuisines. The Role: We’re looking for a versatile and enthusiastic Cooking Class Instructor to teach both kids’ and adult cooking classes in our commercial kitchen. You’ll lead a multi-week after-school series for elementary school aged children on Monday afternoons and also teach adult classes on various evenings and occasional weekends. Responsibilities: • Lead engaging, hands-on cooking classes for children and adults • Plan lessons that balance fun, skill-building, and kitchen safety • Adapt teaching style for different age groups and skill levels • Manage small class sizes with support from our team • Provide clear, encouraging instruction that builds confidence in the kitchen • Additional planning and meeting time as needed to collaborate with staff, preparing for classes and ensuring smooth operations What We’re Looking For: • Experience teaching or instructing cooking to both kids and adults • Strong communication skills; able to explain techniques clearly at different learning levels • Ability to manage groups while maintaining a fun, safe, and supportive environment • Culinary training or professional cooking background preferred • Creative, reliable, and enthusiastic about sharing a love of cooking
