Job Details We are looking for a Floor Manager to join the Casamara Rooftop and Reynold's Cocktail Bar management team. This is multi-venue role for two different styles of venues - one, a coastal Mediterranean rooftop and the other, an intimate vibey cocktail bar. As the Floor Manager, you will be responsible for helping the venues meet service, sales and profit objectives through helping run successful services, train staff, and ensuring guests have a positive and memorable experience every time they visit. You will be responsible for additional management tasks related to the two venues including but not limited to proper compliance with cash control procedures, accounting and administrative reports, ordering and other tasks as required. Front of House Operations Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service Manage staff, providing them with feedback, maintain a high level of employee morale Ensure positive guest service in all areas; investigate and respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests Organize table reservations, greet customers’ arrivals and departures Advise customers on menu recommendations Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs In conjunction with the FOH/BOH management teams, accomplish human resources objectives by assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training Recruit, train, motivate Front of House staff; oversee continual training and performance; keep employee records up-to-date and organized Create an engaging and energetic environment where all associates work as a highly functioning team Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews Make recommendations to the General Manager relative employee performance, including discipline, coaching, and recognition Provide a strong presence in the local community and a high level of community involvement
