Job Duties and Responsibilities Lead Continuous Improvement : Drive lean manufacturing and process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and reduce cost/waste. Data-Driven Improvements : Analyze processes using Lean Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and statistical tools to identify and implement improvements. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with internal teams on shop floor improvements, including capital expenditure projects. Standardization & Training : Develop standardized, repeatable processes and deliver operator training and certification programs. Financial Analysis : Interpret Profit and Loss statements to uncover opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and revenue enhancement. Performance & Visual Management : Implement visual controls and consistent productivity tracking across production areas. Kaizen & Rapid Improvement : Plan and lead Kaizen events and rapid improvement workshops; ensure sustainable follow-up actions. Training & Coaching : Provide formal instruction on lean manufacturing principles and mentor teams in problem-solving, project execution, and performance measurement. Change Management : Support organizational change efforts to drive adoption and long-term success of improvement initiatives. Knowledge Sharing : Identify and share best practices, success stories, and lessons learned to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Multi-Site Support : Assist with improvement projects and training across multiple sites as needed. Stay Current : Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies in operational excellence and process improvement. Qualifications Experience: 7+ years in a manufacturing environment with a strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. 3+ years of leadership experience, curating teams. Education : Bachelor's degree Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), databases, and ERP systems. Legal Eligibility : Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must meet requirements for access to export-controlled materials.
