We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Project Manager to drive efficiency, scalability, and repeatability across our growing Events business. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, project management, and live event production, ensuring that every activation is supported by robust processes, reliable budgets, and repeatable workflows. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in event operations, business development support, and cross-functional project management, with the ability to translate big-picture strategies into executable, data-driven frameworks. You will work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to research industry best practices, design operational templates, and streamline workflows that maximize impact while controlling cost. Role Details: 6-12+ month W2 Contract Position (No C2C) 5 days/week (40 hours) Onsite in central Orange County, CA, collaborating in an energized office setting Key Responsibilities Research and analyze best-in-class event operations and business processes to identify scalable frameworks and efficiencies. Build, maintain, and optimize operational templates, SOPs, and toolkits for live events, sponsorship activations, and partnership deliverables. Develop detailed budgets, forecasting models, and financial tracking systems to ensure projects stay on time and under budget. Collaborate with marketing, sales, legal, and operations teams to align cross-functional deliverables with business objectives. Standardize project management practices across the events portfolio using tools like Asana, Airtable, and Trello. Serve as the point of contact for vendor managementresearching, negotiating, and onboarding suppliers to ensure consistency and cost-effectiveness. Own the master calendar for Events, serving as point of contact for all related parts of the organization. Track KPIs, analyze post-event data, and deliver insights that inform future strategy and optimize ROI. Support leadership by compiling business performance reports, cost-benefit analyses, and operational readiness assessments. Qualifications 8-10+ years of experience in business operations, event operations, or project management roles. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute scalable workflows for live events, sponsorship activations, or entertainment programming. Strong business development acumen with experience in research, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Advanced project management skills, driving multiple simultaneous work-streams, with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, operations, finance, food & beverage, Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to C-level leadership.
