Responsibilities Lead and inspire the BOH team with professionalism, mentorship, and accountability. Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including prep, service, and cleanliness. Oversee all stations (pasta, grill, veg) and ensure plating is beautiful, vibrant, and consistent with Barbuto’s ethos. Collaborate with ownership and FOH leadership on menu development, seasonal specials, and events. Manage ordering, vendor relationships, scheduling, and kitchen financial targets. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, organization, and team culture. What We’re Looking For 6+ years of progressive kitchen leadership experience, including sous chef or CDC roles. Strong foundation in Italian-inspired, seasonal cooking. Proven ability to lead teams, train cooks, and foster a positive, professional kitchen culture. High standards of organization, cleanliness, and consistency. A passion for mentorship, hospitality, and carrying forward Barbuto’s legacy. Perks Competitive salary + benefits package.
