Apply today for immediate consideration.Position: Fashion DesignerLocation: Reynoldsburg, OH (Hybrid)Duration: 3+ months, with possible extensionPay rate: $53.00-55.00/hr on w2JOB SUMMARY: Primary Duties and Responsibilities:The Senior Designer is responsible for assisting with the creation of commercially viable product designs across collections. This role will be supporting the Dream Angels Design Team, working on everyday lingerie as well as more fashion forward pieces.They coordinate and deliver brand-right designs that tie back to the overall concept and business strategy; encompassing style, color/print, fit and fabric for new/existing product lines.Assist the design team in the creation of brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategyDeliver design sketches/prototypes and provide clear specifications for constructionBuild and maintain the sample roomCreate flat sketches, CAD images and TPs to support the TeamIn charge of updating the Design LSPrepare design team for routine and milestone meetings, including the coordination of line presentation boards/tableaus and selection of product samplesPartner with technical design on fit and execution of prototypes, assisting with scheduled fittings and necessary follow-upTrack and organize development samples, ensuring they are delivered within required timelines and seamlessly passed off to key partiesAttend routine team meetings and key partner alignment sessionsAdapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalizationApply processes to understand/anticipate the needs of the customer in order to exceed customer expectations and readily react to their needsUtilize resources in sourcing new ideas, both internally and externally, and stay up to date on competitor research/trend analysisAchieve set goals with acute attention-to-detail, tracking progress & anticipating potential issuesPursue/embrace opportunities to personally grow and develop skills/competenciesDevelop and understand the VS eye/brand identity and specific categoryBuild and maintain effective relations with key partnersSeek to improve process in order to deliver efficiently with speed/agilityClear communication and share challenges, difficulties in a timely mannerQualifications:7+ years designer experience with exceptional creative talent with a commercial fashion eye and detail in product styling/performanceAdobe suit proficient, PORTFOLIOS anized and able to manage several projects at the same timeDemonstrate passion for Lingerie and strong knowledge of the brand History and DNAAble to take on board constructive criticismBachelors degree in Design or equivalent experienceMicrosoft Office, Illustrator/Photoshop proficiencyPLM experience is a plusThe Dream Angels aesthetic, strong design eye & attention to detail, strong illustrator CAD skills (technical CADs, creating lace brushes or patterns/textures, coloring CADs), knowledge of garment construction (lingerie and womens RTW), able to take on board constructive criticism, creative, reactive and dynamic.Someone without strong Adobe CAD skills, without the ability to flex into different tasks would not be a good fit for this role.Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors.
