Compensation:$80,000 - $115,000 yearly Responsibilities:Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and spousal supportConsider representing clients in guardian advocacy cases (training provided)Conduct legal research, analyze cases, and prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and appealsRepresent clients in court in person and by Zoom as requiredRepresent clients in mediation in person and by Zoom as requiredCommunication with clients with timely responses to their various questions is a mustProvide legal counsel and guidance to clients, advocating for their best interests and ensuring fair outcomesNegotiate settlements and participate in mediation or litigation proceedings as necessaryMaintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in accordance with the Florida Bar Association guidelinesUtilize CMS and track billing accordinglyAdhere to office policies and procedures as outlined in the Handbook Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law practiceMember of the Florida Bar AssociationLaw degree from an accredited institutionStrong Microsoft Office skillsResides in South FloridaFamiliar with South Florida Judges and their proceduresAbility to work independentlyReady to pick up cases and run with themCompassionateAbility to work well with othersZest for growth while maintaining a work/life balance About Company At the Law Offices of E.F.
