The RivaReno Gelato team is growing, soon we will be opening our second store in Miami, FL. Our ultra-fresh gelato is produced daily in our “laboratorio” in store only a few hours before serving.  We do not use hydrogenated fats, artificial coloring's, flavoring's or preservatives. The members of this team are responsible of daily gelato production, prepare and decorate gelato cakes, gelato sandwiches, gelato sticks, tiramisus, semifreddo, crepes and other similar products.  Characteristics, qualification and responsibilities are not limited to the following: Qualifications Legally able to work in the US Degree in Pastry, related fields or experienced Previous experience working in kitchen following standarized recipes. Excellent written and communication skills in Spanish and English Clear, respectful and pleasant communication Knowledge how to follow recipes Knowledge of food allergies Knowledge of sanitizing protocols Technology friendly Extremely organized and detail-oriented High tolerance to work in an environment of high customer demand Responsibilities Daily gelato and pastry production strictly following RivaReno Gelato recipes (no previous gelato production experience needed) Decoration of gelato cakes, gelato sticks, gelato sandwiches and all RivaReno products. Serve gelato, gelato cakes, granita, crepes, waffles, and all the RivaReno products. Serve, recommend and provide exceptional customer service. Daily opening, operation and closing of the store Address customer needs, comments, and complaints Cash register (credit cards, debit cards and cash handling) Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary Reception and verification of high-quality standards of products shipped by suppliers Compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards (laboratory + store) Availability to run different tasks during the shift Constant cleaning and sanification following RivaReno protocol Characteristics Honesty Punctuality Positive Energy Total commitment to work Full availability for multiple shifts that may include mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
