Dishwasher

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by ensuring all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are washed, sanitized, and stored properly. This position plays a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Keep dishwashing area clean and organized throughout the shift. Empty trash, recycling, and compost bins as needed. Maintain cleaning supplies and alert management when restocking is necessary. Assist with basic kitchen prep or other cleaning tasks as assigned. Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals. Ensure that floors and surfaces remain clean, dry, and safe during service. Make sure bathrooms are kept clean and tidy. Work efficiently to keep up with the pace of service. Qualifications Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Team player with good communication skills.
