Barista

Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and managing product freshness. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Engage in sales activities to promote new products and upsell items to enhance customer experience. Experience Previous barista or coffee shop experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and handling practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. A background in the food industry is advantageous, along with knowledge of food safety protocols.
