You are the boots on the ground and are responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. You will operate motorized equipment including Electric Pallet Jacks while ensuring that you safely and accurately move products within the warehouse. Operates a double pallet jack throughout the warehouseIdentify pick locations and accurately select a variety of food/beverage cases and stack them onto pallets.Maintains order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage.Report any safety issues to supervisors immediately and help maintain a clean work areaInspect and ensure all equipment is safe to useWarehouse experience preferred, not required.* Must be 18 years of age or older.* Adheres to the attendance policy and commits to the work schedule* Good judgment is required for this position, as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.This position requires the associate to perform all duties at one of our UNFI locations, such as a distribution center.Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation.* Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.* Ability to operate work-related equipment.* About ***** We are North Americas premier grocery wholesaler, delivering the widest variety of fresh, branded, and owned brand products to community grocers and retail chains alike.
