Diesel Bus Mechanic Academy Busis seeking a full-time Diesel Bus Mechanic for the Night Shift at our Leonardo, NJ location. $2500 Sign On Bonus. $28-$33 per hour depending on level/experience. Night Shift 6:00pm - 4:30am Responsibilities: Class B Diesel Bus MechanicRepair, troubleshooting and diagnosis of modern tour busesReconditioning, preventative and routine maintenanceInspections and road testsWarranty and repair documentationDiagnosis, inspection, installation, disassembly andcleaning of components such as:brakes, suspension, tires,bearings, seals, radiators, water pumps, coolant hoses, alternators, regulators, steering components, oil/air filters, door assemblies, controls, seats, belts, electric motors, pneumatic valves, cables, and linkages.Respond to road callsBasic welding/fabricationClass B Mechanics will assistALevelMechanics with skilled workand train/supervise C Level MechanicsRequirements:Diesel Bus Mechanic4-7yearsofdiesel engine maintenanceProven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment,and testing instrumentsMust have own toolsValid driver's licenseBasic computer skillsCDL License with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement is a plus but not required, willingness to obtain a CDL License is also desirable.Health Insurance and Benefits Offered Include:Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription and Life insuranceSupplemental coverages401K planPaid time off and holiday payAcademy is EEO Academy , an industry leader in ground transportation has provided a stable environment for over 50 years.
