LHH is assisting a client in South Charlotte with their need for an Accounts Payable Lead . This is a great opportunity to lead a small Accounts Payable team and drive success. Responsibilities Supervise, mentor, and support small accounts payable team Manage invoice processing, accuracy, and payment distribution Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment issues Administer and optimize AP systems and software Prepare AP reports, assist with month/year-end closings, and support audits Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and regulatory requirements Lead process improvements and automation projects Oversee expense reimbursements and corporate credit cards Develop AP policies and deliver staff training Coordinate with finance to optimize cash flow Requirements 5+ years AP or accounting experience Must have some leadership or managerial experience Strong organizational skills Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills Must be able to work onsite in south Charlotte, NC
