DUTIESAnswer phone Initiate / Schedule & follow up with all outside equipment repairs during the day and after hours as neededKeep log on all EFS payments and insure Parts is given copiesProvide equipment PM's weekly, working closely with Outside Vendors, Shop Manager and Operations Provide weekly Outside Equipment Status Report to Maintenance & Driver ManagersPre-plan and schedule repairs, as well as assign jobs to technicians and custodial as neededCommunicate information to Tire Mgr., Parts Dept., Service Mgr., Maintenance Director and Operations Dept. as neededHelp monitor shop employee safety, and work performanceInitiate wreckers to accidents/incidents and provide pictures as neededStay abreast of new developments in equipment repairs, maintenance and equipment service intervalsAssist technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs when neededAssist Shop Manager with employee interviews and safety meetingsHelp provide training from vendors for mechanics/techniciansProvide repair estimates from vendors as needed to Maintenance DirectorReview all outside vendor repair invoices to ensure charges are correct and issue PO'sLog road/service calls, truck change outsReview, and process RO's as neededReview RO's to ensure part and labor are correct before closing when neededWork closely with Service Manager to ensure good communication Monitor / Close DVIR's in Samsara weeklyEnter incidents/accidents as reported and close when all cost are capturedWork closely with parts dept. to ensure correct parts are being ordered and keep them notified of any part failuresMonitor repair work performed by mechanics as neededMonitor equipment permits as needed and keep up to date
