About the jobRichstone is a family-owned stone fabrication company with a team of 25 hardworking professionals. As we continue to grow, were looking for a financially minded, operations-savvy team member to help us run more efficiently and sustainably. We currently operate out of a 25,000 sqft state of the art facility in Chantilly, VA and serve commercial and residential clients in VA, DC, MD, DE, PA and WV.This position blends strategic financial planning and cash flow management, with day to day AP/AR, Payroll, procurement and Bookkeeping oversight.Youll work closely with company owners and leadership, an internal bookkeeper, third party tax preparers and clients and suppliers when it comes to AP/AR to keep the business operating smoothly from a financial aspect.You'll also help connect the dots between sales, operations, and financekeeping projects moving without creating delays.Financial ManagementJob profitability analysisCash flow managementManage accounts payable and ensure vendors are paid on timeTrack accounts receivable and resolve overdue balancesProcess payroll for subcontractors and W-2 staff in accordance with internal pay structuresQuarterly tax payments and 1099 filings in coordination with our accounting partnersHelp with departmental budgeting and monthly goal trackingMonth-end reconciliation and year end closing of books and internal reporting cyclesTeam & Bookkeeping CoordinationGuide weekly/monthly priorities for the internal bookkeeperOffer mentorship on reconciliations, data entry, and timelinesEnsure bookkeeping tasks align with company goals and deadlinesAct as liaison between the bookkeeper, ownership, and departmentsProcurement & Office OperationsOrder materials including slabs, sinks, and accessoriesTrack inventory and confirm on-time vendor deliveriesPurchase office and shop supplies, tools, and consumablesKeep purchasing records organized to support job costing and reportingRequired QualificationsFamiliarity with job costing, installer pay structures, AR/AP, and payrollComfortable communicating with both internal team members and clients about financial issuesExperience with 1099s, tax payment schedules, and budgetingProficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial reporting softwareStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at oncePreferred QualificationsExperience working with remote or international bookkeepersMastery of QuickBooks OnlineOperational experience in small business finance/accounting, job costing, vendor management, and forecastingExperience in the construction industryPrevious role in a 10100 person company where cross-functional work and wearing multiple hats was essentialWhy Work With Us?Were a family-run stone fabrication and installation company located in Chantilly, VA.
