Night Superintendent ( {{city}})

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations for a large-scale Bridge and Highway build with a focus on traffic control/maintenance, earthwork/sitework, and underground utilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at Night and have experience with Traffic Maintenance and Safety.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate activities of field crews and subcontractors in traffic maintenance, earthwork, grading, stormwater systems, water/sewer installation, and related work.Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and local/state regulations.Manage and implement Temporary Traffic Control (TTC)/Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans.Coordinate with utility companies, inspectors, engineers, and project stakeholders.Maintain daily reports, schedules, and documentation of job progress and crew activities.Monitor production and cost, and adjust activities to maintain project goals.Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress meetings.Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment and jobsite tools.Identify and mitigate risks and delays proactively.Enforce company policies and safety protocols on-site.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction supervision, with direct experience in traffic maintenance, site development, and utilities.The Availability to work NightsProven ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.Proficient in implementing and managing MOT/TTC in accordance with DOT and local standards.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
