Senior Electrical Engineer (Woburn)

Were seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical/control panels for liquid cooling systems across the full product lifecycle (concept through production support). Key Responsibilities: Design control system architectures, electrical schematics, and control logic diagrams. Develop and program PLC/HMI systems , control algorithms (PID loops for temperature, flow, pressure), and firmware. Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication protocols (RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, SNMP, REST API). Test, troubleshoot, and validate system performance; ensure compliance with UL/CE safety standards . Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, refrigeration, manufacturing) and support production. Create documentation, verification test plans, and manage multiple projects on schedule and budget. Qualifications: BS in Electrical, Controls, or related engineering (advanced degree/certifications a plus). 8+ years in control systems design; 5+ years with PLC programming & HMI development . Strong understanding of thermal management/cooling systems .
