We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team and contribute to our continued growth. We have fun while working hard and cant wait to have you join us! Responsibilities Identify, vet, and onboard new suppliers to expand the vendor network and mitigate supply chain risks. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers. Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Lead negotiations with vendors to secure the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions. Demonstrate a proven record of achieving material cost savings and improving the bottom line. Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and ensure timely delivery. Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital while preventing stockouts. Resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in expanding vendor networks and building strong supplier relationships. A proven record of achieving significant material cost savings through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing. Experience in purchasing lumber is preferred. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with team members and management Analytical and data driven decision-making capabilities.
