What Youll Be Doing: Lead and manage all preconstruction efforts for assigned projects, with a focus on Design-Build delivery . Collaborate closely with owners, architects, and trade partners to define project scope, budgets, and schedules. Develop accurate cost estimates, conduct risk analysis, and propose mitigation strategies. Coordinate trade partner bids, scope reviews, and value engineering initiatives. Provide leadership and mentorship to the estimating and preconstruction team. Support presentations to clients, project handoffs, and internal project reviews. What Success Looks Like in This Role: Proven experience managing Design-Build projects from preconstruction through execution planning. Strong technical skills in estimating, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and preconstruction services. Ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and provide actionable solutions. Builds effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners while maintaining attention to detail. Continuous focus on learning, development, and improving project delivery outcomes. Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant experience in preconstruction, with Design-Build projects preferred. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering, or related field. Experience managing high-value, complex projects across commercial, multifamily, or mixed-use sectors.
