Manufacturing Engineer Job Summary We are seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. This role will focus on coordinating mechanical parts, reviewing and maintaining specifications, and supporting inspection-related activities. The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure parts meet engineering, quality, and customer requirements. This position reports to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Key Responsibilities Review, document, and maintain mechanical part specifications. Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and quality teams to ensure parts meet design and compliance standards. Support inspection activities, including evaluating parts against drawings and specifications. Assist with updating and maintaining technical documentation and engineering databases. Communicate findings and coordinate corrective actions with engineering and production teams. Provide support for ongoing projects and process improvements related to part quality and specification control. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (required). 02 years of experience in engineering, quality, or related technical roles (internships or co-op experience acceptable). Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and part tolerances. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) a plus. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
