Job Title: Production Manager Finished Goods Location: Queens, NY Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: VP of Product Development Overview A fast-growing consumer goods company in the housewares and tabletop category is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of imported finished goods. This role will be responsible for managing overseas suppliers, production schedules, quality assurance, compliance, and cost optimization across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities Production & Supplier Management Manage end-to-end production for finished goods, ensuring on-time and cost-effective execution. Partner with overseas vendors (primarily in Asia) to align on requirements, schedules, and quality standards. Review and approve lab dips, PP & TOP samples, verifying specifications for accuracy and compliance. Ensure adherence to retail customer routing guides and packaging/labeling standards. Order & Inventory Coordination Track purchase orders, confirm accuracy, and manage timelines. Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, and sales teams to align production with business needs. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and efficient turnover. Work with procurement to balance stock availability with cost efficiency. Quality Assurance & Compliance Oversee third-party inspections and factory audits. Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues quickly with suppliers. Coordinate product testing to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer standards.
