Job Title: Safety Manager Electrical Construction Location: Office near Brea, CA (1 day in office, 4 days in field) Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000 base Company Revenue: Approximately $100M annually Type of Work: Commercial electrical contracting including ground-up builds, tenant improvements, and service work across healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager with a strong background in electrical construction to help elevate and enforce jobsite safety protocols across multiple projects in Southern California. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of implementing company-wide safety and compliance programs in alignment with CAL/OSHA standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor compliance and coach field teams Lead implementation and enforcement of company safety program Oversee OSHA 300 logs and documentation across all active projects Ensure all field and office personnel are up-to-date on OSHA training and certifications Develop and conduct in-house safety trainings, toolbox talks, and orientations Coordinate and track OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 compliance requirements Maintain safety records and support internal audits and reporting Manage incident reports, investigations, and corrective action plans Collaborate with field foremen and project managers on proactive safety planning Handle all safety-related administrative tasks and reporting requirements Qualifications: OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management within the electrical or general contracting industry Deep understanding of CAL/OSHA standards and construction safety best practices Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Comfortable with both field presence and high-volume administrative safety tasks Additional Details: Role requires field presence 4 days per week with 1 day in office near Brea Projects span Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire Vehicle allowance and company phone provided Ideal Candidate Traits: Passionate about creating a culture of safety Detail-oriented and highly proactive Able to drive compliance while building rapport with field crews
