Senior Estimator (Fairfax County)

Your new company Our client is an award winning general contractor based in the DMV who have been supporting clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for over 40 years. They specialize in a wide range of sectors including healthcare, retail, industrial, and multifamily developments. They are also recognized for fostering a strong internal culture of accountability and growth Your new role The Estimator analyzes all project documents to determine the overall estimated cost of a project. Estimators gather, calculate and compile data to produce construction cost estimates for competitive bid proposals in a timely manner. The Estimator is also required to perform a thorough and detailed turnover of awarded projects to the project management team. What you'll need to succeed 5+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry at a General Contractor (private sector preferred) Knowledge of Estimating & Takeoff Software Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related experience Experience in Divisions 2-16 Strong written and verbal communication skills What you'll get in return Competitive salary range between $140K-$180K 401K Holiday PTO Health/dental/Vision Hybrid work schedule (WFH Wednesdays & Fridays)
