About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, deadline-driven Construction Superintendent to oversee assigned construction projects and serve as the key link between project stakeholders. This individual will lead and manage the on-site construction team, ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, and maintain clear communication between all parties involved. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who thrives under pressure, ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget, and never compromises on quality or safety. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the on-site construction team. Coordinate and oversee all daily work on site. Review project schedules and budgets, ensuring strict adherence. Attend and actively participate in production and coordination meetings. Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship across all phases of construction. Place orders for materials and manage on-site equipment and inventory. Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines are consistently met. Enforce compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work site. Keep accurate and up-to-date site documentation, including daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs. Liaise with inspection authorities to secure necessary approvals. Requirements Experience: 5+ years as a Construction Superintendent. Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documents. Specialization: Heavy highway and road construction experience required, including proven success on projects in these disciplines. Additional Skills: Experience working with public agencies (MassDOT experience is a plus). Skilled at taking and uploading digital photographs for documentation. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Travel: Must be able to travel to multiple job sites across Massachusetts.
