Job Title Holy Cross Fleet Maintenance Technician Department Holy Cross Courts Terms and Hours Approx. 4-6 hours per week Job Category Student Employment Hourly Wage Portland Metro Minimum Wage ($16.30) Job Summary The Holy Cross community is looking for a reliable, responsible and detailed-oriented student worker to maintain the interior cleaning of their vehicles on a regular and rotating basis that would require 4-6 hours per week. This position would start in August and continue through the semester. Core Duties The employee filling this position would drive the cars from holy Cross Court (HCC) parking lot to the Public Safety garage, clean the interior of each vehicle according to a check list and drive the vehicle back to the HCC parking lot. * Main job duty includes a thorough cleaning of the interior of each vehicle * Wash interior and exterior of the vehicle's windows * Clean the dashboard and all other surfaces with appropriate cleaning materials * Thoroughly vacuum the seats, floors and floor mats * Scrub stains on seats * Remove all debris (pine needles, leaves etc) from edges of windshield and trunk * Check air pressure in the tires and occasionally fill tires with air * Other relevant duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications A valid driver's license and driving record background check are required prior to being hired. Student employee much also successfully complete Public Safety's online driver safety training before driving on campus for this position.
