Bulk Tanker Driver

Position Summary The Bulk Tanker Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk materials such as cement, fly ash, lime, or other dry bulk commodities to and from construction sites, plants, or storage facilities. This role requires strict adherence to DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and accurate loading/unloading procedures to ensure materials are delivered on time and in proper condition. Key Duties & Responsibilities * Operate a bulk tanker truck to transport dry bulk materials to designated locations. * * Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DOT requirements. * * Load and unload materials using pneumatic systems, hoses, and valves. * * Maintain accurate records of materials hauled, delivery times, and vehicle inspections. * * Ensure proper handling and transfer of materials to avoid contamination or spillage. * * Monitor gauges, pressure readings, and flow rates during loading/unloading operations. * * Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant operators, and site personnel. * * Follow all company safety protocols, DOT regulations, and applicable environmental guidelines. * * Perform basic truck maintenance and report repair needs promptly. * Assist with other duties on-site as required when not driving.
