Dino Restaurant, a beloved neighborhood Italian spot in the heart of Fort Greene, is looking for an experienced and self motivated Front of House Manager to join our team. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, seasonal comfort food in a cozy yet lively atmosphere. If you have experience in a warm and inviting but fast-paced restaurant, have a passion for hospitality, and are a self starter with attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you! About the role: The Front of House Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing our front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining a positive work environment. You will manage the host stand, dining room, delivery platforms and all guest interactions. You will also take on administrative duties, including but not limited to: payroll, inventory, scheduling, hiring, training, staff performance, social media and private events while ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities: -Lead by example to maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere. -Manage FOH operations, including the host stand, dining room, delivery platforms, social media and guest interactions. -Oversee, train, and develop front-of-house staff, ensuring top-tier service standards. -Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll, staffing, performance reviews, inventory management and health department protocol -Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide continuous feedback and coaching to the team. -Ensure guests have a flawless experience, from table touching to resolving concerns quickly and professionally. -Manage and staff on site private events as needed -Collaborate closely with the kitchen and owners to ensure smooth, efficient service. -Proactively contribute to the ever-changing needs of the restaurant Qualifications: -2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. -Proven leadership and communication skills. -Passionate about customer service, food, and hospitality. -Experience managing a team, conducting training, and fostering a positive work culture. -Strong organizational skills, with a knack for handling multiple tasks at once. -Ability to manage payroll, scheduling, and timecard reviews. -NYC Food Handlers Certificate required. -Tips Certified a plus. -Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
