Job Description:The Director of Pharmacy Business Operations is a critical member of the Pharmacy leadership team and is responsible for the oversight and analysis of pharmacy-related financial 340B, and purchasing business activities. The Director partners with pharmacy leadership, finance, and other healthcare teams to drive cost-effective and compliant pharmacy business initiatives, ensuring compliance with all State and Federal Regulations.Job DescriptionEducation:Bachelor’s or doctorate degree in Pharmacy - Required in Finance or related area Preferred.Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MS) - PreferredExperience3–6 years of experience in pharmacy operations or financial pharmacy oversight role in  healthcare setting - RequiredSubject Matter Expert Level knowledge of 340B program compliance and management2 years' experience in overseeing 340B compliance - Required2 years' experience in pharmacy purchasing systems and inventory maintenance - RequiredPharmacist experience - PreferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and healthcare reimbursementStrong knowledge of outpatient pharmacy payer agreements and negotiationExpert in data analysis and reporting using Excel, and BI tools.  Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and reportingExcellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced hospital environment.Knowledge of medical terminology, generic and trade pharmaceutical names, and pharmacy laws and regulationsKnowledge and experience in a variety of practice settings; including hospitals, infusion centers, specialty and retail settingsAbility to use analytics tools to evaluate and monitor medication utilization and purchasingWork Shift:Exempt Salaried (United States of America)Pay Range:$194,315.00 - $291,472.00SalaryOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
