The Manager of Project Management will oversee the project management team and customers in daily rental project schedules, as well as job costing, project evaluations, and weekly assessments. The position will provide direction to the department while partnering with customers, operations, warehouse, accounting departments, purchasing agents and dispatchers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage and refine the departments processes for customer requests for rentals or permits while providing expertise to each area of the business. Partner with the sales team to seamless execute high level customer and projects Partner with the estimating team to ensure quoting matching job scope Lead pre-job meetings with customers and internal departments to ensure all action items and details are tracked and assigned by providing exceptional customer service. Ensure that all projects are delivered or serviced on time, within scope and within budget Ensure and anticipate resource availability and allocation by communicating regularly with internal departments. Develop and maintain relationships with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Partner with customers and cities to coordinate and secure permits as necessary and/or utilize internal permit department Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and a safe work zone Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and costing Attend and participate in industry events. Review and share project performance with manager, sales, operations and other departments Report, resolve and escalate when appropriate, any customer or safety concerns Manage and build relationships with the client and all stakeholders Attend pre-job walks and post-job walks Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years in the construction industry working directly within operations, sales, project management or estimation Management and/or supervisor experience required Project management certification or equivalent strongly desired Strong problem-solving skills Strong Communication both verbal and written Ability to maintain pleasant and cheerful customer service demeanor Positive, can-do attitude in the face of adversity Extreme organizational skills Ability to accurately maintain financial and inventory records Ability to work with various computer systems Ability to work nights and weekends if needed Ability to multi-task and work in high stress environments Ability to foster teamwork in all areas of the business Bi-Lingual a plus Ability to work independently PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, walk, and climb. Average lift is less than 10 lbs. Requires ability to use a keyboard and monitor. Light or low amount of physical exertion. Limited manual dexterity or physical manipulation. Minimal or low level of physical stamina and endurance.
