U.S. Got People (USGP) is seeking a dedicated PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled technologist looking to support our nation’s military community while gaining valuable experience in a federal healthcare setting.Schedule:Weekend Days (7am-3:30pm)Holidays are requiredTraining and Onboarding: will take approximately 2 weeks and will occur on weekdays.Qualifications:Education: Graduate of a radiologic technologist program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) requiredLicensure/Registration: Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiographic Technologist or Radiation TherapistImmunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain):Hepatitis B (series and titer)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)Varicella (Chickenpox)TB (Tuberculosis) testSeasonal Influenza (flu) vaccineCOVID-19 vaccine (if applicable) Key Responsibilities:Greet and prepare patients, schedule appointments, manage exam requests, and handle imaging records and mediaOperate fixed and portable radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic imagesAdjust settings such as kVp, mA, exposure time, and focal spot size based on the required imagingAccurately position patients and select appropriate imaging media and accessoriesRecord, process, and manipulate images using digital imaging softwareAssist with fluoroscopic, interventional, and other special proceduresPrepare and assist in contrast media administration and respond to contrast-related emergenciesMaintain a clean and sterile work environment and support with emergency cart readinessOperate accessory equipment as needed Why USGP?At USGP, we are deeply committed to supporting veterans and their families by delivering exceptional care through a network of dedicated professionals.
