Tax Manager (Wilmington)

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Tax Manager is a newly created role that will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of tax-related financial activities within the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of ASC 740 and the ability to prepare and review complex tax calculations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in using OneSource Tax Provision, familiarity with a wide range of domestic and international tax concepts, and the ability to work with large datasets. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: BS or BA in Accounting required; CPA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public or industry-specific tax function; combination of Big 4 and industry experience is preferred. Pharma and/or intellectual property intensive industry experience preferred. Strong aptitude for identifying process improvements, including the use of tax technology and automation. Strong written and oral communicator. Strong research and analytical skills. Excellent skills in One Source Tax Provision and MS Excel. Experience working with SAP and Hyperion is preferred. Knowledge of ASC 740 and financial reporting for income taxes. Knowledge of US tax rules and familiarity with transfer pricing and US-international tax concepts. Income tax compliance experience is preferred.
