Job Description

We’re looking for a hands‑on, collaborative Field Project Manager to lead our metal framing jobs from the ground up. You’ll be the boots‑on‑the‑ground leader who keeps projects moving smoothly, safely, and with high quality—working closely with crews, subcontractors, and the internal teams to make sure every detail is on point. What You’ll Be Doing Oversee all day‑to‑day field operations for assigned jobs, making sure everything’s running efficiently and safely Coordinate crews, subcontractors, material deliveries, and schedules to hit project milestones and stay on time Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress, quality of work, and safety compliance Be the key link between the field and the office—communicating clearly with foremen, vendors, contractors, and the internal project team Deal with on‑site issues as they pop up—problem solve fast so delays are minimized Track important job metrics (labor hours, materials used, etc.) so every project remains on budget and on target Review blueprints, drawings, specs to make sure scope is clear and accurate Keep project records up‑to‑date: daily logs, change orders, punch lists, etc. Build and maintain strong relationships—with clients, contractors, team members, and all stakeholders What We’re Looking For At least 3 years’ experience in construction management , ideally with metal framing Solid understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and how to plan out project sequencing Real experience managing crews and subcontractors out in the field; able to adapt when things don’t go exactly as planned Strong problem-solving instincts and good decision-making under pressure Excellent communication and leadership skills; someone people on‑site and in the office want their team Familiarity with project management software, scheduling tools, and the Office suite, or similar tools Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Nice Extras (but not must‑haves) Bilingual (English/Spanish) OSHA‑30 or equivalent safety certification Experience working on larger commercial construction projects
