This position will be responsible for BD, Networking and Marketing activities in the aviation industry across the Eastern US. This is a great opportunity to develop and grow business for a studio of creative and talented designers who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate on a variety of projects in scale and scope.Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.ResponsibilitiesGenerate and secure new business by identifying and pursuing areas of opportunity and assisting in closing dealsOverall coordination and tracking of business development efforts in the Aviation Sector, and assisting with developing and executing a project pursuit strategy in collaboration with Aviation Sector leadershipAble to successfully identify and establish productive relationships with decision makers and influencers during the relationship development and project pursuit stagesMaintain an extensive network of industry contacts, actively managing appropriate, regular communication with those contacts; facilitates appropriate access to their network of industry contacts, in support of pursuit activitiesPlan, coordinate and attend local and national industry events and conferences; facilitate high-visibility participation for Aviation Sector leadershipAssist in managing the Aviation Studio Business Development budget for the Eastern RegionBuild rapport and develop partnerships with a broad network of professional Contacts including collaboration with other business development directors to source leads and build national networking relationshipsCollaborate with other Aviation BD Directors and leadership to build and source National and International relationships and opportunities.Establish and maintain sound working relationships with clients and gains their trust and respectProvide input for proposal response and the creation of interview presentationsQualificationsThis role is an in-office positionBachelors or master's degree in business, communications or a related field5+ years of regional business development experience in the Aviation AEC industry requiredBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience working with a CRM system to manage all BD efforts and communication of pursuits. Microsoft Dynamics preferred.A professional appearance and confident presentation abilityStrong written and verbal skills and the ability to favorably represent the firm in the industryActivate a degree of intuition and sound judgement when making quality decisionsDemonstrate high levels of critical thinking skillsCorgan creates opportunities for personal and professional growth that bring out the best in ourselves and those around us by sharpening skills, leveraging technology, and encouraging communication.
