Today, our curriculum and academic programs are absolutely world-class, but our digital experiences are dated. Your job will be to reimagine our digital learning experience, and to push the upper bounds of great teaching and learning.We are hiring for two Senior Director of Product roles. One will be in charge of Learner Experience, the other in charge of Customer Experience. They will work closely with each other and the Chief Product Officer in standing up a new Product Management department of the company and recruiting and managing a team of great product managers.The Senior Director of Product - Learner Experience will be:Helping lead a major brand refresh project to build an iconic, nationally renowned educational brandDeveloping new live classroom products used by teachers and students for all AoPS in-person and online course offeringsDeveloping new self-paced and asynchronous learning experiences that leverage AoPS’s world-class curriculum and recent advances in AICreating radically new learning experiences for pushing the ceiling of great math education, including designs that combine hardware, software, and new AI toolsManaging a team of product managers working on different components of the learning journeyFostering a "demo culture" where design ideas are quickly prototyped and tested with real students and teachersCreating a culture of storytelling, a deep understanding of customer journeys, and attention to the details of a quality user experienceCollaborating with engineering, design, curriculum development, course delivery, customer service and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and high-quality executionYou might be a good fit for this position if...You hold a high bar for great products, have strong opinions, and can evangelize great learning experience across the companyYou have well-developed opinions about pedagogy and learning experiencesYou are excited for the future of AI tutoring, but also know that the best tutors sometimes just wait patiently and say nothingYou have experience in high-velocity product teams, and can rally teams to fast-paced and high-quality executionYou are an experienced manager who has built the loyalty and respect of your teamsYou're willing to throw away good ideas in pursuit of great onesYou enjoy spending time with students and teachers in classrooms and are excited to make things intuitive and obvious for themYou're curious about mathematics and are eager to dive into what makes a truly great learning experiencePerks And BenefitsThis is a full-time position based at our headquarters in San Diego, CA. The base salary for this role is 180k - 210k.
