Join us and take your place in space.Job SummaryEnterprise Information Services (EIS) and Security & Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) are two organizations within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) division. EIS is responsible for Aerospace’s classified and unclassified enterprise IT environments and support a wide range of components, including equipment, collaboration tools, communication systems, security measures, and business, technical, and scientific tools. Security delivers strategic solutions to safeguard national security interests and protect corporate, assets, personnel, and classified systems, while EHS ensures compliance, employee safety and emergency preparedness that drive operational efficiency.We are seeking a driven and confident General Manager Administrative Partner (Administrative Specialist IV) to work directly with the General Managers of EIS and Security & EHS, operating as a true partner to help drive the success of the team and organization. As an integral member of the management team and focal point for both divisions, the ideal candidate will be strategic and forward-thinking, capable of anticipating needs, making informed recommendations, and actively contributing to planning and decision-making processes. This individual will streamline workflows, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and provide collaborative administrative leadership to enhance operations. Proactive and independent problem-solving, ownership of processes, and effective communication with leaders, colleagues, and customers across the enterprise are essential to ensure smooth operations and timely achievement of internal and external deadlines.Work ModelThis is a full-time position based in El Segundo, CA which requires 100% onsite work.What You’ll Be DoingExecutes strategic, proactive, and complex calendar/meeting/event planning management and conflict resolutionArranges travel coordination, logistics, and expense reporting for leadershipOversees coordination of employee support for the group/division/sub-division (office space, on-boarding, timesheet administration/auditing, training requirements, supply/equipment orders)Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and information for the leader(s) to facilitate efficient decision makingCoordinates and facilitates special projects, tracks actions items and deliverablesCoordinates division, corporate, and customer reports/deliverables/org charts (compile/edit/publish)Act as a partner, representative, and point of contact for leadership by working closely with and fostering connections with internal executive and senior management, government customers, contractors, and external senior leadersProvides input and feedback on GM/Division-level activities and decisions , with follow-up communications and coordinationDrafts and prepares various correspondence, emails, letters, presentations on behalf of leadershipImproves and ensures effective processes/systems within the division that provide superior organization, efficiency and industry-lead technical best practicesCollaborates with admins across the corporation to achieve coverage and increase efficiency and consistencyLeads by training and mentoring admins and is a role model by demonstrating professionalism, team collaboration, technical expertise, and leadership behavior that is consistent with the company's valuesWhat You Need to be Successful - Administrative Specialist IVMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent is requiredAdvanced administrative skills: project coordination, strategic execution of tasks, organization, detail-oriented, writing, and proofreadingAdvanced technological fluency across a wide range of tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and ExcelAdvanced communication & interpersonal skills: leadership, collaboration, strategic thinking, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, diplomatic, judgment, business acumen, and decision making, across all levels of the organizationAbility to rapidly adapt to changing environments and anticipate needs of the organizationAbility to handle sensitive and personnel-related information appropriately and support sensitive management functionsAbility to work independently and/or cooperatively with a team to proactively deliver innovative solutions and resolve issues with minimal directionThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SSBI/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government.
