At The Local Eclectic Café , we’re reimagining the charm of the Parisian café through a globally inspired, playful lens. Located within Local Eclectic’s first-ever retail location, our café and wine bar is a celebration of bold flavors, refined simplicity, and genuine hospitality—from morning espresso to late-night apéro.We’re seeking a Café General Manager to lead daily operations, shape an exceptional guest experience, and oversee both front and back of house teams in partnership with our Chef de Cuisine. This is a rare opportunity to bring a brand-new concept to life—one that blends creativity, connection, and community.What You’ll DoHire, train, and manage the café’s full front-of-house team (baristas, servers, bartenders)Partner with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure alignment and strong communication between FOH and BOHBuild a culture rooted in collaboration, creativity, inclusion, and accountabilityDevelop training programs, set service expectations, and foster team growth and retentionGuest Experience & Service ExcellenceLead the day-to-day guest experience—ensuring every visit feels warm, polished, and memorableMaintain ambiance and service quality throughout the day (music, cleanliness, mood)Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues with care and professionalismWork the floor as needed to ensure smooth, high-touch service during peak timesOperations & Business ManagementOwn daily café operations, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory managementMonitor key performance metrics (sales, labor, customer satisfaction) and make data-driven decisionsCollaborate with store and HQ leadership on sales goals, events, and community engagementSupport café programming, events, and seasonal initiatives that reflect the brand’s visionSource and manage vendors for FOH-related items—dining and drinkware, uniforms, specialty toolsPartner with Chef de Cuisine on sourcing needs that impact the guest-facing experienceMaintain high standards for FOH presentation and materialsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with our culinary consultant, Chef de Cuisine, and HQ team to bring our café vision to lifeSupport kitchen and café layout/design execution to ensure optimal flow and service efficiencyAssist in the launch and refinement of systems that align with Local Eclectic’s brand and valuesWhat You BringExperience as an Assistant GM, General Manager, or Director in a food & beverage environmentStrong track record in front-of-house operations and team leadershipPassion for hospitality and crafting thoughtful, elevated guest experiencesExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsComfort working in ambiguity and building from the ground upExperience with new openings and restaurant build-outs a plusFamiliarity with bar and light culinary operations preferredCompetitive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans401(k) with company matchPaid parental leaveQuarterly shopping credits for Local Eclectic productEmployee discounts across the brandLearn more about the flagship store and café concept here .Local Eclectic is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
